2025 Extension Master Gardener Regional Tours- Registration NOW OPEN!

Central Region Tour hosted by Wilson and Sumner Counties on May 16thCheck out the full schedule HERE!

Highlights include the Wilson Co. Ag Park arboretum, native plants demo garden and lunch at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, local food at Connell Gardens in Sumner County. Plus, our tour folks will get access to a special pre-sale at the Cedars of Lebanon native plant sale after lunch!

Eastern Region Tour hosted by Anderson and Roane Counties on June 5th and 6thCheck out the full schedule HERE!

Enjoy a full day of fun on June 6th with highlights including local history and native plants at Fort Southwest Point and many different demonstration gardens at Roane County Park along with an afternoon of different service and plants at the UT arboretum and more. Plus, there are several opportunities for fun with optional tours and hikes on June 5th.

Western Region Tour hosted by Lauderdale, Dyer, Madison, Weakley and more on June 12thCheck out the full schedule HERE!

Highlights include cut flower farms, the arboretum at O’Kenna Park with Dyer County EMGs, lunch from the local classic Boyette’s and a Boardwalk tour at Reelfoot Lake as well as a greenhouse tour at Discovery park and food and a tour at the White Squirrel Winery.

2025 in our TEMG Program

​The Tennessee Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer educational program that provides Tennesseans with horticulture education!

The Tennessee Extension Master Gardener Program trains and engages with volunteers to provide the public with research-based information on lawn and garden topics. TEMGs are volunteers who have a love of plants and horticulture coupled with Extension training to equip them to teach and assist Tennessee residents.

Interested in Becoming a Tennessee Extension Master Gardener?

2025 will have many great possibilities to connect with our program in local groups around the state. Our statewide EMG leadership team is providing a training that will provide a great content foundation from our best speakers in the context of real, live, in-person interactive sessions in your county to get the best of both worlds. All registration occurs locally, so contact the local county Extension office nearest you for all the information.
